The Ghana Football Association has taken the decision to shelve its planned football retreat aimed at soliciting views from various stakeholders in the aftermath of the country’s failure to qualify for Afcon 2025.
The retreat which formed part of the FA’s action plan to rescue Ghana’s sinking national teams was initially scheduled to take place on the 28th of November at the Ghana Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram.
The FA has been under immense pressure to turn around the fortunes of the country’s football industry following a number of monumental failures.
Ghana is winless in the last two editions of the Afcon and have just recently capped it off with a winless qualifying campaign for Afcon 2025 under the leadership of head coach Otto Addo.
According to the FA a new date will be communicated.
