Black Galaxies head coach, Mas-ud Dramani, believes that his team will score in Nigeria in the second leg of its crucial CHAN qualifier.
Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, eligible to only Ghana based players, drew goalless with Nigeria at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg of the two legged qualifier.
The winner of the qualifier will qualify to next year’s CHAN that will be held in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. Ghana crashed out of the 2022 CHAN at the quarterfinal stage.
Speaking in a post-game interview, Mas-ud Dramani was adamant that his team will score in Nigeria and boost its qualification chances.
“As much as possible, we will try to keep a clean sheet but I want to believe that we will surely score. We will score, we will open up something. I control the energy, the effort, I control the performance (of my boys) but the results, we don’t control it” he said.
Ghana hasn’t won the CHAN despite competing in two finals in the 2009 and 2014 editions.
