Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has described West Ham United’s surprising 1-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium as a win the team “will never forget”.
He said this according to the BBC after the game that had The Hammers end its four game winless run in the English Premier League thanks to Jarrod Bowen’s header in the first half.
Kudus played out the entire duration of the game alongside Bowen as West Ham’s attackers; Kudus’ clear path to goal was denied by Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly who got red carded and Kudus praised the collective effort in the win stating,
“Much needed three points. It has been a difficult season but it is one of those wins we will never forget about. We were focused and I’m glad we got the three points. We played a top team and we knew they would attack a lot. Everyone did their duties.”

West Ham next take on struggling Leicester City with Kudus set to face off against fellow Black Stars player Jordan Ayew on Thursday, February 27 at 20:00 GMT.
