Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has endured a frustrating 2024-2025 season after excelling in his debut campaign in the English Premier League with eight goals and six assists in 33 EPL games.
After finishing the 2023-2024 campaign with the Best Goal Award at West Ham and ranking second in West Ham’s Most Valuable Player Award, Kudus has three goals and an assist in 22 EPL games.
The Black Stars player’s frustrating season is highlighted in the eyebrow raising statistic of having the most strikes against the woodwork in the league.
Kudus ranks highest among all EPL players with five shots against the woodwork; Chelsea playmaker Cole Palmer has also endured a frustrating campaign in the second half of the season and has five shots that have hit the woodwork.
Six players have hit the woodwork four times including fellow Black Stars player Antoine Semenyo of AFC Bournemouth.

The likes of Erling Haaland and league leading goal scorer Mohammed Salah have also hit the woodwork four times.

Kudus and Semenyo are expected to be called to the Black Stars for 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar on March 21 and 24 respectively.
