Ghanaian coach, Samuel Taylor, has been selected as part of 8 finalists for Arsenal and World Remit’s “Future Stars” program.

The eight Future Stars finalists will now compete in a public vote for the chance to attend a personalised training programme with Arsenal Football Development coaches in London – sponsored by online money transfer company, WorldRemit. Two winners will be chosen – one male and one female.

Taylor described his selection as a once in a lifetime opportunity and urged people to vote for him to help realise a lifelong dream.

“The opportunity World Remit is offering me is a once in a lifetime opportunity and it will open my world to new skills and new people who can all help me further my career as a coach,” Taylor told Citi Sports.

“I’m urging people to vote for me so I can use the experience I acquire at Arsenal to help my kids to nurture their talents,” he said.

Voting is FREE.

About Samuel Taylor

Samuel coaches under 13, under 15 and under 17 teams at Em Sporting Club, which is located in a rural area near Accra.

A passionate football player himself, he decided to start coaching to bring together children and coaches from neighbouring villages to enjoy football together.

How was Samuel Taylor selected for the World Remit Future Stars?

In August, World Remit and Arsenal Football league launched its “FUTURE STARS” Competition targeting youth football coaches across Africa, the Americas and the Caribbean.
Out of all the global submissions, Mr. Samuel Taylor, a youth coach from Ghana was chosen as finalist! This means he has advanced to the next level to be considered for training in London UK with Arsenal Football Club Development Coaches.
