The 2019 CAF Confederation Cup was a memorable one for Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The record Ghana Premier League Champions had no domestic football going on to help them prepare for the competition, due to the aftermath of the Anas Documentary.
However, Porcupine Warriors, then led by current Black Stars head coach CK Akonnor, made it all the way to the group stages of the competition.
Kotoko’s 3-2 win at Cameroonian giants, Coton Sport, in Yaoundé, during the playoffs was perhaps one of their best displays of that campaign. And Maxwell Baakoh’s goal on that day was certainly one of a kind.
