President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku has expressed confidence in head coach of the Black Stars C.K Akonnor to end Ghana’s trophy drought while bringing back the feel good factor back to the national team.

Akonnor has recorded a win a defeat in warm up games against Qatar and Mali respectively.

According to Kurt Okraku, the head coach will eventually impose his signature on the team.

“We are here to fix the fundamentals and to get it right.

“When we get it right we will be very competitive.

“Once that happens soon the big trophies will start to land via the Kotoka International Airport once again.

“We are very positive and given the support that the entire country has offered us we will be able to bring that target of envy one more time.

“The Black Stars is on the heart of everybody and you see clearly from his first two callups that he is a deep thinker.

“He is bringing in quality and its just a matter of time this team will start to gel and we will be competitive and interesting again.

“Its been a long time the Black Stars played interesting and entertaining football
