Head Coach of Asante Kotoko, Maxwell Konadu is optimistic that the club can win the Ghana Premier League this season but only if they work hard.

Kotoko have not won the league since they last won it in the 2013/2014 season.

Konadu has called on his players to give off their very best in order for the team to achieve that feat.

“We still need to work much harder if we really want to win the league.” Konadu said.

“I will charge my players that we need to work harder before we can win this league,

“It’s not easy, it’s not an easy league but we believe with hard work, it is possible we can win.”

Asante Kotoko have so far played three games in the Ghana Premier League and have managed just a win, while drawing the other two.

They will take on Accra Great Olympics next on Thursday at the Accra Sports Stadium in a midweek game.
