The former Dutch international interacted with the kids and shared his story of making it as a professional footballer in the European country to inspire them.

In the interaction, some of the kids told him they wanted to pursue football as a profession, and he urged them not to give up on their dreams.

“I spoke to the children about education, how I was when I was young, a little bit of introduction about what I had to go through to become a footballer, and the main priority was education,” he said.Image may contain: one or more people, people sitting and outdoor

“I think they got the message quite well and when you see how happy they are, even the singing and dancing, for them to be involved, it’s quite humbling.”Image may contain: 1 person, standing

The proprietress of the orphanage, Mrs. Janet Anyeley Parker, expressed appreciation upon receiving the donation since it’s the only means of upkeep for the children at the home.Image may contain: 1 person, standing

Claret and Blue fans all the way from Juabeng in the Ashanti Region came to give morale at the event and treated their youth coach and all present to some spicy ‘jama’ in the afternoon.Image may contain: 1 person, on stage, standing, sky and outdoorImage may contain: 1 person, standing, sky and outdoor
