The Phobians, who dropped to CAF’s second tier competition following a 6-2 aggregate defeat at the hands of Wydad Athletic Club in the CAF Champions League last round of qualifiers, have the chance to redeem themselves with a place in the Confederation Cup group stages up for grabs if they can beat JS Saoura.
Hearts of Oak will play host to the Algerian side in the first leg on 28 November, 2021 before travelling to Méridja on 5th December, 2021 for the second leg.
The winner of the tie will then progress to the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.
