Four coaches have been shortlisted for the Women’s Premier League NASCO Coach of the Month award for January.
They include Yusif Basigi, head coach of the defending champions, Hasaacas Ladies; Stephen Sarkodie, head coach of FA Cup runners-up, Ampem Darkoa; Faith Ladies’ Edna Quagraine and Prince Acheampong of Fabulous Ladies.
Basigi led Hasaacas Ladies to two wins and three draws in January, scoring eight goals along the way, results which have taken them three points clear at the top of the Southern Zone table.
Ampem Darkoa, with Stephen Sarkodie in charge, won four of their five matches, scoring 14 goals in total.
They also top the Northern Zone by one point.
Fabulous Ladies lost one of their five matches in January and scored eight goals, while Faith Ladies won one and drew one of their five matches in January.
The winner will be named on Friday and will take home a 42-inch NASCO Television.
