Ghana Premier League side, Accra Great Olympics have parted ways with head coach, Yaw Preko after five months, following a run of poor results.

The 41-year old departs the club after their 2-1 defeat to new comers Nsoatreman FC on Sunday, leaving them in 11th place on the league log with 23 points.

Yaw Preko took over from Annor Walker in September last year and supervised 6 wins, 5 draws and 6 losses, during his stay at the club.

Former Ghana international Isaac Armah and ex-Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Kingson have been given temporary charge of the team.

Great Olympics will begin the second round of the BetPawa Premier league against Bechem United on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
