Italian Giants AC Milan have acquired Ghanaian youngster Kingsford Boakye Yiadom from Accra side MSK Zilina after impressing scouts from the club with his performances at the lower division side.
The 18-year-old, who was part of Ghana’s successful Black Satellites squad that won both the WAFU Zone B Championship and the Africa Youth Championship in 2020 and 2021 respectively, left the country last Tuesday to finalise his move to Milan after successful negotiations.
The Ghanaian has signed a long-term deal with the seven-time European champions and passed the first phase of his medicals in Ghana before his departure.
He is expected to join Milan’s youth team initially, mainly the U-19 side, and will hope to establish himself as a key player, eventually impress manager Stefano Pioli enough to earn a place in the first team.
