Legon Cities Communications Director, Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang, is confident head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin’s experience on the local scene will yield good results for the club in the upcoming season.

Fabin led Aduana FC to a second-place finish last season and also boasts of enormous experience in nurturing young talents.

In an interview with Citi Sports, Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang said the club’s decision to hire the former Black Starlets Head Coach was a no-brainer given his experience.

He comes in with a lot of experience, one of the reasons we went in for Paa Kwesi Fabin was the fact that, he is someone who has the ability to get the best out of very young talents.

We all know he started through as a Physical Education trainer at various secondary schools before he veered into full time coaching.

He has a knack for developing talents and it is a module we want to use going forward, so obviously he made the grade there and of course he has the ability to develop experienced players.

You look at his time at Hearts of Oak, Kpando Hearts of Lions, and other big teams in Ghana.

So we looked around and we felt that, he is the man who ticks all the boxes for us.

Fabin signed a two-year deal to join the Royals after leaving Aduana FC.

Legon Cities take on Karela United at the El-Wak Sports Stadium in the match day 1 fixture of the 2023/24 Betpawa Premier League in September.
