Former Wa All Stars Football Club CEO, Samuel Oduro-Nyarko, has disclosed that Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team is in a “moulding stage” and will get better in a few years.

He said this in an exclusive chat with Citi Sports as the heat has been turned on the Black Stars following back to back losses to USA and Mexico.

Ghana lost 4-0 to USA and lost 2-0 to Mexico in FIFA international friendly games last month with both losses punctuated by poor performances. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton is under immense pressure and reports suggest the former Newcastle United manager will be sacked.

However, Oduro-Nyarko believes the team is in a moulding stage and needs time to get better saying,

“I think that the Black Stars is in the moulding stage I still believe so and that in a few years to come, we will have a very good team. We will use the AFCON as a stepping stone to greater heights.”

Ghana has been drawn in Group B with Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique at the 2023 AFCON.
