#Accra2023: Unilez Takyi & Joselle Mensah qualify to women’s 50m freestyle final

Ghanaian athletes Unilez Takyi and Joselle Mensah have successfully advanced to the finals of the women’s 50m freestyle event at the 2023 African Games.

They displayed remarkable performances during the preliminary heats, securing their spots in the highly anticipated final showdown at the Aquatic Centre, Borteyman Sports Complex.

Mensah Joselle secured third place with an impressive time of 26.77 seconds, closely followed by Unilez Takyi, who clocked in at 26.81 seconds, earning her a fourth-place finish.
