CAA REGION II SENIORS ATHLETICS CHAMPS: Hor Halutie wins bronze in women’s 100m final

Ghana’s Hor Halutie won bronze in the women’s 100 m final event of the Confederation of Africa Athletics Region II Championship on Day 1 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, Legon.

The nation’s top athletes are poised to leave a significant mark at the championship, which acts as a qualifier for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The chosen athletes, hailing from security services, universities, and clubs, have been undergoing rigorous training and are committed to bringing honour to Ghana.

The team features experienced competitors such as Hor Harlutie, Mary Boakye, Helena Mensah, Sarfo Ansah, Edwin Gadayi, and others who have consistently excelled on the international stage.

Ghana is hosting the CAA Region II Athletics Championship for the 2nd time, and the country is eager to showcase its athletic prowess to the region after an impressive hosting of the African Games.
