A win in this match is essential for Ghana’s qualification hopes for the 2025 AFCON tournament.

Currently, the Black Stars sit third in Group F with two points from four games, behind both Angola and Sudan.

Angola leads Group F with a perfect record, having amassed 12 points across their qualifiers.

If Ghana fails to qualify, it would mark the first time since 2004 that the nation has missed out on an AFCON tournament, with the next edition set to be held in Morocco.
