Vision FC’s Communications Director, Prince Tagoe, has dismissed claims that the astroturf at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema negatively impacted the team’s or players’ performance during their debut season in the Ghana Premier League.

After earning promotion to the top flight ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, Vision FC has played its home matches at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.

In 15 home games this season, the team secured 7 wins, 7 draws, and only 1 loss, scoring 18 goals and conceding 10, accumulating 28 points.

Despite this strong home record, some football spectators and pundits have raised concerns about the astroturf’s impact on players’ careers and the team’s playing style.

Prince Tagoe, however, refutes these claims, asserting that the narrative surrounding the venue’s astroturf does not reflect the team’s performance or experience.
