After serving as head coach of Juventus Football Club for just seven months, Igor Tudor, has been sacked from his role.

The club made the announcement of Tudor’s dismissal official on Monday, October 27 a day after losing 1-0 to Lazio in a Serie A league game.

The loss condemned the Bianconeri to its eight winless game in a row in all competitions including a 1-0 loss to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League prompting the club’s top hierarchy to make the move.

Tudor spent eight years at Juventus as a player and won two Serie A league titles before serving as an assistant head coach at the club under Andrea Pirlo.

Announcing Tudor’s sacking, Juventus stated, “The Club also announces that it has temporarily entrusted the Men’s First Team to Massimo Brambilla.”
