Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club assistant head coach Prince Yaw Owusu isn’t sure striker Kwame Opoku would feature in the team’s clash against archrivals Accra Hearts of Oak.

The super clash between the two big rivals comes off on Sunday, November 9 at the Accra Sports Stadium at 15:00 GMT.

Kwame Opoku recently returned from an ankle injury he picked up in Kotoko’s opening game against Berekum Chelsea but speaking after Kotoko’s 4-2 win over Karela United, Yaw Owusu cast major doubt over Opoku’s availability for the big game.

“To be honest with you, Sunday is too early for him-Kwame Opoku. We just have to prepare and prepare him well [so that] when he comes back, he comes to stay” he said at a presser.

Kotoko and Hearts are the only unbeaten teams in the Ghana Premier League with Hearts beating Basake Holy Stars 2-1; Hearts have four wins and four draws while Kotoko have three wins and two draws.
