Aurora Commodore-Toppar, the Treasurer of the Ghana Basketball Federation, unveiled a newly built basketball court for her Alma Mater, Aburi Girls Senior High School.
The Ghana Basketball Executive played an instrumental role in funding the project that aims to improve the development of basketball at the school.
The court, painted in the yellow and green colours of the school, is a multi-purpose court that serves as a volleyball court too. The Agricultural Development Bank in Ghana played a role in funding the project.
Basketball patriots including Vice President (Administration) of the Ghana Basketball Federation, Alex Kukula, were present at the ceremony.
An exhibition game involving members of the school team was played to honour the event that was also witnessed by members of Aburi Girls alumni.

Commodore-Toppar is a member of the Executive Board of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) as a member of the body’s Government Relations and Stakeholders Committee and has served as Treasurer of the Basketball Federation since 2021.
