Arsenal wingers Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke were late additions to the team’s match day squad to play against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League but both made a huge impression on their return after being sidelined for multiple weeks with injuries.
Both were introduced into the game as second half substitutes and both players scored to give Arsenal a 3-1 win over Bayern at the Emirates Stadium.
Heading into the game, both teams were unbeaten in the tournament with four wins in as many games but the Gunners scored in the 69th and 77th minute respectively to settle the tie.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the game, Bayern Munich captain Harry Kane was disappointed with the result but added that there is no need to panic.

“It was a tough game which is kind of what we expected. It was a good battle in the first half which was fairly even.

“They won the first and second balls. Set pieces, we knew they would be dangerous. I’m sure we’ll see them [Arsenal] again in the later stages of the Champions League?” Kane said.
