Chelsea Football Club are through to the Carabao Cup semifinals and winger Pedro Neto is eager for the club to win the trophy seemingly regardless of its prestige.

He said this after scoring in Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals that had fellow winger Alejandro Garnacho score twice in the game. Both wingers came off the bench and impressed in the win.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the win, Neto stressed the importance of progressing to the semifinals of the competition by stating,

“It’s really important. The manager said in the last 18 months this is the third semi-final we had, so we are really happy with that. We got the win, so we are already looking for the next game. It was the concentration. It was the will of winning this game.”

“We wanted to win a lot this game. Then we had guys on the pitch who could make the difference and Garna [Alejandro Garnacho] today helped us a lot as well with two goals. We are Chelsea, we want to win trophies. Our mindset is to win all the games.”
