Manchester City midfielder Rico Lewis believes Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo’s transition into the Man City team feels seamless.
He said this according to the BBC after Semenyo scored and provided an assist on his debut for the club just hours after his 64 million pound move from AFC Bournemouth was confirmed on Friday, January 9.
Semenyo’s contributions aided Man City to register a whopping 10-1 win over lower league side Exeter City FC in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Semenyo assisted one of two goals Lewis scored in the game; the former emerged as the Man of the Match Award winner and Lewis shared his excitement over Semenyo’s addition to the team.
“It’s not a surprise for us because everyone has seen how good of a player he is in the Premier League.”

“Everybody wanted him, there’s a reason for that and he’s shown that today. It feels like a seamless transition into the team” Lewis said.

Semenyo is in line to feature in another cup competition when Man City take on Newcastle United at St. James Park in the first of two legs in the Carabao Cup semifinals on Tuesday, January 13.
