Crystal Palace defender Chris Richards has praised Palace manager Oliver Glasner for guiding the team to compete in high profile competitions and games.
Richards praised Glasner after the German tactician guided Palace to score a 3-0 win over Fiorentina in the UEFA Conference League first leg quarterfinal clash at Selhurst Park.
Since Glasner took over as manager of Palace after managing German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, he has led the London side to win the FA Cup and Community Shield since his appointment.
The trophies are the only major trophy wins for Palace and after Palace’s big win over Fiorentina ahead of the second leg clash between the teams, Richards commended Glasner’s effect on the team by telling TNT Sports,

“Whenever you keep a clean sheet, it helps everyone. The guys up top always help out the team and to get three goals is great. We could have scored more.”

“Of course we want to get to the final but we understand that there is another leg to play and we have to get the job done. He- Oliver Glasner-has given us confidence since he has come into the club. With the trophies we won last season, the players have confidence.”
