Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos described the goal fest produced in a clash between his side and Germany’s Bayern Munich as a “crazy game“.

He said after defending UEFA Champions League winners PSG beat Bayern 5-4 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinals played in Paris.

The second leg takes place in Munich on Wednesday, May 6 with PSG holding a slight advantage heading into the contest and after experiencing the uptempo pace of the exciting contest, Marquinhos spoke about the physical toll on the players.

“Every football fan loves a game like that. It was a crazy game, two teams who play similar, aggressive and intense. We are so happy that we were able to come away with the win.”

“I think next week will be the same crazy game, two teams that want to score. We need to go there with the same mentality and personality so we can get the same amazing job done. We need a lot of effort to win. We need to rest because this game made us tired” he said to Amazon Prime.
