Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says his team will try hard to win the Emirates FA Cup title after failing to do so in two straight finals.
Man City take on Chelsea in this year’s final on Saturday, May 16 at the Wembley Stadium marking the fourth straight year that Guardiola’s team has made it to the competition’s final.
However, the past two finals have had Man City lose to Manchester United and Crystal Palace respectively and speaking ahead of the clash against Chelsea, Guardiola was eager for the tide to turn.
“There’s excitement, of course. I hope we can do better than the last two times. It’s new players and it’s forgotten. A new game against Chelsea. We are in the final and we have to try to win the trophy.”

“The message will be how we have to move, run and play to beat Chelsea. We try to perform as much as possible to win. It is always the game plan” Guardiola said.

However, Pep Guardiola wasn’t sure about the availability of injured midfielder Rodri for Saturday’s game.
