England National Men’s Football Team manager Thomas Tuchel has officially named his squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a host of big names not included.
The group headlined by captain Harry Kane, was officially announced on Friday, May 22. England will take on Croatia, Ghana and Panama at next month’s World Cup.
In the goalkeeping department, Aaron Ramsdale and Nick Pope didn’t make the squad while Real Madrid defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, Lewis Hall of Newcastle and Luke Shaw of Manchester United weren’t called up among the defenders named in the group.
In midfield that is anchored by regular starters Decelamd Rice and Elliott Anderson, Chelsea playmaker Cole Palmer was the biggest name to miss out on the call up. Phil Foden of Manchester City and Morgan Gibbs-White of Nottingham Forest were excluded while Jordan Henderson of Brentford was maintained.

In attack, Arsenal trio of Noni Madueke, Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze were named in the team with Ivan Toney of Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahly making a return to the squad. Scroll down to view the full list.
