The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will appoint an interim technical team to lead the Black Stars during the November international window as the search for a permanent head coach continues.
The team will oversee preparations for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Somalia at the Accra Sports Stadium in November.
In a statement issued on Friday, October 9, the GFA said the interim team will also engage and monitor players and ensure continuity in the national team programme.
The arrangement will allow the GFA to complete its recruitment process without disrupting the Black Stars’ immediate competitive commitments.
The association says it remains committed to a transparent, merit-based process to identify a coach capable of building a team that can compete successfully at continental and global levels.
