Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique says his side has a plan to contain Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal ahead of Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League clash in Paris.
Barcelona head into the match unbeaten in 11 games across all competitions this season, with Yamal playing a key role in their strong start.
The 19-year-old has recorded nine goals and 10 assists and was on target again at the weekend, scoring a superb goal in Barcelona’s 5-2 win over Real Betis.
Enrique outlined his approach to dealing with the Spain international at a press conference ahead of the meeting between the two European heavyweights. (Scroll down to watch video)
“The best way to defend against Lamine Yamal is to have the ball.”

“That’s our ideal scenario, but we know it won’t be like that because of how difficult it is to play against Barça. We’re staying focused and alert, though, as we’ll need to overcome that as a team” Luis Enrique said.
