Dreams FC has backed both Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko in their respective continental football assignments this weekend.

Aduana Stars head to Egypt to play Libyan side, Al Tahaddy, in the CAF Champions League while Kotoko host Congolese side Cara Club in the CAF Confederations Cup.

On Tuesday, Dreams FC released a statement of support for the two teams and wished them the very best.

Portions of the statement read:

“As Ghana’s representatives, we pray that you get the required flying start to put your team in good stead for qualification to the subsequent rounds.

It is our fervent hope and prayer that all the hard work put into preparation of your team produces the desired result necessary for a successful campaign.”

Meanwhile, Aduana Stars CEO, Albert Commey, says succeeding in this year’s Champions League is high on the team’s agenda.

“Our target is to win so that we restore the image of Ghana and get the slots the nation lost sometime back. We pray that Asante Kotoko will also be successful in their campaign.

However, it will not be easy for us since the league has not yet started.”
