Ghana moved up three places to 51st position in the latest Coca-Cola FIFA Ranking released on Thursday.

The Black Stars had occupied the 54th position in the March rankings, but gained 602 points to tie with Cameroon in 51st position.

The Black Stars, despite not playing a friendly game in March, move up to 7th on the continent, behind Tunisia, Senegal, DR Congo, Morocco, Egypt, and Nigeria who occupy the top 7 spots.

Burkina Faso and Cape Verde Islands make up the top 10 on the continent, ranked 9th and 10th respectively, with Algeria dropping out of the top 10.

Globally, Germany remain the top-ranked team, followed by Brazil, Belgium, Portugal and Argentina who make up the top 5.

Kyrgyz Republic were the biggest climbers, moving 40 places up to 75th, while Haiti dropped 23 places to 108th to make them the worst movers.

The next world rankings will be released on May 10.
