Ghana’s Jordan Ayew has been shortlisted for Swansea City’s Supporters Player Of The Year Award following an announcement by online portal, Wales Online on Tuesday.

Ayew’s has been a key part of the Swansea City team since the start of the season and his efforts have earned him a nomination in terms of who the fans believe has been the team’s best performer this season.

The former Marseille and Aston Villa man has scored 11 goals in 40 matches for the Swans across all competitions this season.

He is competing with Lukasz Fabianski, Alfie Mawson, Federico Fernandez and Ki Sung-Yeung for the award.

The winner will be determined by a fan vote for the award which is sponsored by two online portals, The Evening Post and Wales Online.

It will be handed to the winner on May 2 during Swansea City AFC’s Official Player of the Season Awards Dinner on May 2.

Whoever wins the award will have his name on the roll of honour after Gyilfi Sigurdsson who won it in the last seasons.
