2 lucky clients of Standard Chartered Bank will get the chance to experience the 2018 World Cup in Russia as part of the bank’s 2018 World Cup Promo.

The winners will enjoy Round of 16 tie in the World Cup and they will be given the best of treatment from Standard Chartered Bank, Visa and FIFA, the entities who have come together to offer this great experience.

Speaking at the official launch of the promo in Accra on Tuesday, Bossman Kwapong, Head of Products & Segments, Retail Banking Ghana, broke down the dynamics of the promo and how the winners would be chosen for this wonderful reward.

“For people to be eligible for this prize, they should have used their debit and credit cards a minimum of 20 times in the month of May and the top two users in terms of value of transaction will get to enjoy the prize.

We are encouraging our clients to use their cards for all payments during the month under review.

The winners will be met at the airport in Russia in arrival and they will spend 5 days in a deluxe hotel, they will get a Category 2 match ticket and they will be properly taken care of by officials of Standard Chartered, FIFA and Visa.

The combination of these three big brands shows that a lot of thinking and planning has gone into this promo.”

The 2018 World Cup promo follows in the line of similar things done by the bank in relation to the 2006, 2010 and 2014 World Cup tournaments.

Kwapong stated that the winners would also get souvenirs from Standard Chartered and Visa in addition to the main prize of enjoying a World Cup game live in Russia.
