Former Kotoko defender Eric Donkor has signed for Ghana Premier league leaders AshantiGold, after being released by the Porcupine Warriors.
Donkor’s 7 year relationship with Kotoko, where he won 3 league titles and 2 FA cup crowns, ended last week after he was deemed surplus to requirements by Head Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin.
The 25 year old signed a 2 year deal with the Miners on Wednesday, and is expected to begin training with the side immediately.
He becomes AshGold’s first signing of the transfer window, and will bring a wealth of experience to C.K Akonnor’s side.
