Boakye – Yiadom: The Chinese League is challenging

Ghana and Jiangsu Suning striker Richmond Boakye – Yiadom says the widespread opinion that the Chinese Super League is easy and stress free is a misconception.

The 25 year old, made his move from Red Star Belgrade to the Chinese Super League in the January transfer window after scoring over 30 goals in two seasons.

Richmond’s time in China has not proven as prolific, at least not in the early stages, but according to him there is still time to find his form.

Most people in Europe don’t see the Chinese League as a difficult one.

You need to play in it to believe it,because I used to score a lot of goals in Serbia.

I have played 8 matches since and I have scored only two goals.

This means that I have to work harder,” he indicated

Despite being called up by Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah, Boakye – Yiadom has had to withdraw from the upcoming international friendlies against Japan and Iceland after picking up an injury.
