New WBO World Super Bantamweight champion Isaac Dogboe is prepared to unify his division in the near future, according to his advisor Mike Altamura.

Dogboe captured the WBO world title last Sunday after an impressive 11th round TKO victory over American Jessie Magdaleno.

There has been a lot of talk concerning Dogboe’s next move after making history by becoming Ghana’s youngest ever world champion at age 23.

Reports of a possible rematch with Magdaleno have been making rounds, including the prospect of a possible unification bout with either Rey Vargas, who holds the WBC crown, Daniel Roman (WBA) or Ryosuke Iwasa (IBF).

When questioned about the possibility of Dogboe unifying the division, Mike Altamura said,”…absolutely, there’s already been some scuttlebutt about that. Isaac’s open to any of these challenges. He’s a true warrior.

“When we say he’s the ‘Lion of Africa’ it’s said with meaning and that means he’s’ going to be a fighting champion. He’s ready to take on all-comers.”

Dogboe’s capture of the world title ended Ghana’s seven-year wait for a world champion.
