Zylofon PL Matchweek 13: AshGold, Medeama lose as Karela upset Aduana

Dawu based Dreams FC were 1-0 winners over Techiman Eleven Wonders, thanks to a Issah Yakubu strike.

Ebusua Dwarfs earned a surprise 2-0 win over AshGold to boost their survival hopes, with Amos Abeka Nkrumah and Aikins Asante getting the goals.

In Anyinase, Karela United continued their giant killing run, beating champions   Aduana Stars 2-1 at the CAM Park.

Karela moved into 3rd place with the win, 2 points behind leaders Medeama. Wa All Stars’ struggles continued with a 1-0 home loss against Inter Allies. Kenichi Yatsuhashyi’s men have now picked up their first win on the road this season.

Zakaria Fuseini goal proved to be the winner as Berekum Chelsea beat Tarkwa based Medeama in Berekum. The victory moves Berekum to 9th on the league table.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko returned to winning ways, beating Emina Sharks 2-0 at the Baba Yara stadium. Emmanuel Gyamfi and new man Songne Yacouba, got the goals for the Porcupine Warriors.

Tamimu Muntari got the winner for Reginald Asante Boateng’s Liberty Professionals in a 2-1 victory against Bechem United. Kofi Agbesimah cancelled Simon Zibo’s opener for Liberty, before the Scientific Soccer lads fought back to claim all 3 points.

Hearts of Oak will take on WAFA on Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium in the last game of matchweek 13.
