#Donkomi: Patrick Twumasi joins Deportivo Alaves

Spanish top-flight side Alaves have confirmed signing Ghana winger Patrick Twumasi from Kazakhstan side FC Astana on Friday for a reported 3 million euros.

The 24-year-old moves from Kazakhstan side FC Astana after and signed a four-year contract with the Spanish La Liga side.

“Deportivo Alaves has closed the incorporation of Patrick Twumasi for the next 4 seasons,” Deportivo Alaves said in a statement on Friday night.

“The right-winger comes from FC Astana and joins the ranks of the albiazul entity as the 4th signing of the 2018/19 season.”

Twumasi joins his compatriot Mubarak Wakaso at the club that have big ambitions for the coming season in the La Liga.

Twumasi leaves FC Astana after three years at the club. He played  29 games during the last campaign, 15 of them in the domestic competition and 14 between the Qualifying Phase for the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League and scored total of 18 goals.

The 24 year old has played three games with the national team of Ghana.
