Kenyan FA boss, Nick Mwendwa, has called out on fans to rally behind the Kenya National football team, Harambee Stars, in their quest for a place in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

This as he noted that preparations for the match are in top gear, with the team set to hit camp on Monday, September 3, 2018, in Nairobi.

“Coach (Sébastien) Migné has already made his selection. The team will hit camp on Monday next week and we are hoping that we will get a positive result against Ghana,” said FKF President Nick Mwendwa.

“I am thus calling out on fans to turn out in large numbers to support the Harambee Stars,” he added.

The match will be played on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at the MISC Kasarani starting at 4 pm Kenya time

Kenya has been pooled in Group F alongside Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Ethiopia.

The top two teams in each Group are set to gain qualification to the Africa Cup of Nations, set to be held in Cameroon in June 2019.
