Sixteen players have reported to Ghana’s team camp in Ethiopia as the Black Stars begin camping on Tuesday ahead of their upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Kenya.
The team is resident in the Capital Hotel in Addis Ababa.
Four players; Kwadwo Asamoah, Christian Atsu, Harrison and Ebenezer Ofori are expected to join up with their teammates later on Tuesday for the team’s first training session.
Kwesi Appiah and his backroom staff arrived in Addis Ababa on Monday evening and will hold the team’s first training session on Tuesday afternoon at 15:30 local time.
The team will hold a double session on Wednesday at 10:00 and 15:30 and then a morning session on Thursday at 9:00.
Appiah’s men will then depart for Kenya at 16:00 later on Thursday.
The game is scheduled to come off on Saturday at The Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi at 13:00 local time.
Ghana opened their qualifying campaign with a 5:0 thumping of Ethiopia in June 2017 to begin their road to Cameroon 2019.
