The Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association(GHALCA), Kudjoe Fianoo says that Normalization Committee has its work cut out for them.

The Normalization Committee was formed to bring reforms to the Ghana Football Association.

The Committee is to replace the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Committee and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the GFA.

Mr. Fianoo states “There’s a lot to be done, just watching from the free side, in the sense that we have practiced each system, once a while there are some amendments but for thirteen years we think that so many things have to be done”

He further states that the country’s league needs to be run by an autonomous body and referees also need to behave professionally.

“We want to see our league being run by an autonomous body, we want to see our referees behave professionally, we want elections to be approached by voting from the bottom to the top and not the top to the bottom.”

The GHALCA chairman also adds that the committee needs to ensure that the decision taking bodies are up to the task that has been given them.

“Making sure that the adjudicating bodies are up to the task and Justice must be dispensed with dispatch, so that when someone goes foul to the law, the law should take its course”.
