The Managing Director of Total Petroleum Ghana Limited, Eric Fanchini, on Saturday emerged the overall winner of the CEO’s challenge at the 2018 Citi Business Olympics.

He beat competition from other Chief Executive Officers who took part in the challenge.

Per the challenge, the CEOs were to score as many goals within 60 seconds.

Eric Fanchini has been serving as the MD for Total since September 2017.

Total also won the men swimming competition.

Citi Business Olympics is arguably the biggest corporate sporting event in Ghana.

The 2018 edition came off on Saturday, September 22 at the Burma Camp Sports Complex in Accra.

Over 40 companies participated in the event with GCB bank sweeping most of the awards bagging six trophies from 14 sporting disciplines.

Companies like Dannex, Stanbic, Chamber of Commerce and Total Ghana Limited also won multiple trophies.

But none could top the six trophies GCB Bank walked away with.

Some of the sporting disciplines included basketball, volleyball, tennis, lime and spoon race, sack race, scrabble, swimming among others.
