Togolese international and former Arsenal striker, Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor, has offered Ghanaian comedian Funny Face a special birthday present.

In an Instagram post, the famed footballer wished his friend Funny Face happy birthday and also wrote that he had given him a blank cheque to withdraw any amount he wishes from his Access Bank account.

He, however, added jokingly that the pair promised themselves that they would not “finish each other’s money.”

As part of the birthday surprise, Adebayor, 34, also asked Funny Face to pick up any item of his choice from electronics company Hisense Ghana.

[contextly_sidebar id=”cNESQ0BIBS0z2OppjhPI3NANlb4jUB2k”]”Happy birthday to my good homie and brother @therealfunnyface. We all know how much I care about you.
For your birthday I don’t have much to give you but there are two things I would like to say: I want you to go visit my friends from @hisense_ghana. Pick any item from their store and tell them I sent you. They will be waiting…” he wrote.

“I would like you to go to the nearest Access Bank in Accra, there is a blank check waiting. It’s for you to write any amount on it. Please remember we promised not to finish each other’s money, so be reasonable. Anyways help me wish my brother @therealfunnyface a Happy Birthday. May God Bless your hustle,” Adebayor added.

The pair have been friends for almost ten years.

This is not the first time Adebayor has lavished his friend with a luxurious gift.

In 2012, he also bought Funny Face a customised Range Rover.

Not long ago, he professed in a video, how much he cherishes Funny Face as a friend.

In a Facebook post, Funny Face expressed his appreciation to Adebayor for his support and love for him over the years.

“A president was born for Children today .. thank you God for making me go through all I went through just to Renew and shape me to be a better person dis day .. and to my brother @e_adebayor for motivating and advising me thru my hard moments in life .. which nearly took my life , am happy God gave me a friend like you .. who believes in me more dan I even believe in myself .. ur guidance and advice and God’s help .. has brought me this far !!…” he wrote.
