Hearts of Oak announce deal with Umbro

Accra Hearts of Oak have announced a deal with English sports kit maker, Umbro.

The deal was made public on Monday via a statement on the team’s Twitter handle and was confirmed by Umbro as well on social media.

According to the details, the deal is for three years and Hearts will be beneficiaries of kits, training gear, off-field apparel, footwear, and luggage for the playing body.

For the technical team, they will get branded gear while the fans will have access to Hearts of Oak gear to purchase.

For Umbro, they get to the Hearts’ exclusive global technical partner.

Hearts of Oak CEO, Mark Noonan, was delighted at the news and underlined the value of the deal with Umbro.

A brand with such history and authenticity, premium product quality, cutting edge designs and love for the beautiful game make them a perfect fit for our highest ambitions. I urge Phobians everywhere to embrace and give them their full support to the partnership.”

Umbro South Africa representative, Donovan Bell, said:

“It goes without saying that we are proud to be associated with with a club that has so much success on the pitch and we are looking forward to more in the future.”

The statement said that Hearts and Umbro were collaborating on designing the team’s new kits and they would soon be outdoored.

Hearts will join the likes of Everton, West Ham and Werder Bremen as team who are sponsored by Umbro.
