Hearts of Oak were stunned 1-0 by Elmina Sharks at the Ndoum Stadium on Wednesday on match day 2 of the GFA Special Competition.

The Phobians wasted several opportunities to get goals and perhaps on all three points on the day but they wasted all of them and got punished in the 83rd minute when Felix Addo struck first time from a cutback. Sharks have 4 points from their first two games played while Hearts have three.

After losing 3-1 to WAFA on the opening day, Liberty bounced back in style with a huge 4-0 home win over Dwarfs at the Karl Reindorf Park.A Kwadwo Addai own goal started the feast for Liberty with Emmanuel Addo grabbing two. Benjamin Eshun completed the scoring for the home side to give their first three points while Dwarfs have zero points and a minus 6 goal difference. For Dwarfs, their afternoon was made worse due to a red card to their goalkeeper, Razak Issah on the stroke of half time.

Aduana Stars also got their maiden win of the competition after defeating Eleven Wonders 2-1. Yahaya Mohammed and Fatawu Abdulrahman put Aduana Stars 2-0 up before Alex Asamoah pulled one back for Wonders.

WAFA stayed unbeaten after two games with a 1-1 home draw with Inter Allies. Kingsford Opoku scored for WAFA while Effiong Nsungusi Jnr was on target for Allies.

In other results, Dreams FC drew 1-1 with Karela and Bechem drew a blank at home with AshGold in a goalless draw.
