Ghana XI vs Guinea Bissau: Kwabena Owusu starts, Kwadwo Asamoah benched

Black Stars head coach, Kwesi Appiah, has handed atarying roles for youngsters Kwabena Owusu and Samuel Owusu in his team to face Guinea Bissau in a must-win last Group F game at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah who started the last game against Cameroon after missing the first game against Benin, has been left on the bench.

Kwabena and Samuel impressed from the bench when they came off the bench against Cameroon and both have now been rewarded with starting roles.

There’s also a debut start for Genk defender, Joseph Aidoo, who partners the returning John Boye at center back following suspension to Kasim Nuhu and injury to Jonathan Mensah.
