The Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced the compensation packages for athletes competing at the 2019 African Games in Rabat, Morocco.
Ghana will present 91 athletes in 14 sporting disciplines at the multi-sport event which starts on August 19, 2019.
For individual events, each gold medal winner will get $3000, silver medalist attracting $2000 and $1000 will go to the bronze medal winner.
With regards to team sports, each player would be rewarded with $2000, $1500 and $1000 respectively for winning gold, silver or bronze.
