I’ve never had a fallout with Kwesi Nyantakyi – Fred Pappoe

GFA Presidential aspirant Fred Pappoe has cleared the air on his relationship with disgraced former GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The Accra Great Olympics Board Member, Pappoe, worked under Kwesi Nyantakyi as GFA Vice President from 2005 to 2010, before leaving post after the World Cup in South Africa, amid rumours of a fall out.

In an exclusive interview on Citi TV’s Sports show, The Tracker, Papoe denied a feud between the two, and went as far as describing himself and Mr. Nyantakyi as friends.

“There has never been a fall out between myself and Kwesi Nyantakyi,” he said.

“We had a very good relationship throughout our time working together.

“I think we are friends, but there are levels of friendship, but I can consider ourselves as friends.”

Pappoe is battling against six other candidates for the right to be called the next President of the Ghana Football Association when the elections are held on October 25.
